Preparing for Your Child’s Dental Visit
As eager as you might be to set up your child’s first appointment at Happy Teeth of Southampton with Dr. Amar, you should make sure that you have a clear idea of what to expect. On this page, we discuss some of the things that we want parents to know before they arrive at our office. Your First Dental Visit
Once you’ve completed the necessary paperwork, we will take your child back to our treatment area and take a look at their smile. We’ll check their teeth, gums, and other oral structures to see if there are any problems developing. A cleaning may also be performed depending on how old your child is. We’ll take note of any problems found during your child’s visit and give you advice on how to help them take better care of their mouth at home, such as encouraging good oral hygiene habits and making sure that they eat plenty of smile-friendly foods.
